The Dirty Feet Snowshoe ‘Night’ Fun Run will be a fun running and walking event for all ages. Race #3 in this series will be held at Big White Ski Resort and will offer 2 distances, 5K and 10K. The courses will follow the snowshoe trails and nordic ski near the tube park. The lodge will be open for the snowshoe run/walk and food and beverages will be available.

Happy Valley Day Lodge will be hosting Santa for a big breakfast before he heads out to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls around the world. Breakfast will be served as a buffet from 8:00am-11:00am with Santa visiting between 8am and 10am. Breakfast includes everything from pastries, maple bacon and even a Kid's pancake bar .

The Breakfast Buffet is only $19.95 and for Kid's 10 and under $8.95! 

Bring the family in for a big feed before hitting the chairlifts. There will even be a chance for you to get your last minute present requests in!

People who want to experience the amazing world of hypnosis will be offered an opportunity to do so on December 21, here at Big White Ski Resort.  What can you expect as a volunteer from Professional Comedy Hypnotist Gavin Hooper?  First and foremost, expect a lot of fun, as his shows are always clean family friendly events, so you can experience what it’s like to be hypnotized and still look your friends and family in the eyes later.   

For the show itself, you could be piloting a spaceship at warp speed, or find yourself auditioning for Canadian Idol… some may find it next to impossible to sit down or pick money up off the floor. It’s all about letting go and allowing your Imagination to run wild for a while. 

Guests who become hypnotized will be completely safe, and after the show they will feel relaxed, well rested and absolutely euphoric and yes you will remember everything… after a little while. Find out more about Gavin Hooper here.

Join us at the ice skating rink before the show for FREE Hot Chocolate and S’mores from 5:00pm-6:15pm. Once the show is over guests are invited to head back outside of the day lodge for our weekly Firework show.

The Christmas Market will be held in the Village Centre Mall on Sunday, December 15th from 8:30am- 4:00pm and will feature a wide variety of handmade and locally sourced products from independent vendors as well as the essential Big White Christmas souvenirs. The Big White Christmas Market is the perfect place to get started on your Christmas shopping!

Join us on Canada’s highest ice skating rink for a skate with Santa Claus. Santa loves to unwind at Big White before setting off for his adventures around the world. He can usually be found in his workshop in the Village from December 19- 24. Be sure to drop by to find out if you are on the naughty or nice list this year.
 
This is the perfect chance to challenge Santa to a game of hockey, take a selfie with the big man in red or deliver your Christmas wish list in person. 
 
Once you have finished skating warm up with FREE Hot Chocolate and S'mores at the Ice Rink Bonfire from 5:00pm.

Get up to speeds as fast as Santa’s sleigh in the Big White Tube Park.

Grab a tube and meet Santa at the top of the carpet from 5:00pm in the Happy Valley Adventure Park. Invite Santa to ride with your group or challenge him to a race! When Santa is taking a break from the lanes be sure to you say hello, get a photo and maybe a candy cane.

Winter action sports are in full swing at Big White!

The 10th Annual Big White Winter Rally is an event that tests the limits of performance rally teams as they take on the speed and snow of our forest roads. Top teams from across North America will be competing in the last round of the Canadian Rally and Cascadia International Rally Championships.

This jam-packed weekend of motor sports is sure to have you reeling with excitement as you watch racers speed through the beautiful forest terrain of Big White.

The Ridge Rocket Chair will be spinning from 8:45am until 3:30pm all weekend, so make sure you have your Big White Season Pass or Biggie Card loaded to join in all the fun. Loose Moose and Lucy Moose can also be spotted skiing around the mountain all weekend for photos ops and hugs!

We will be celebrating the arrival of our World Famous Okanagan Champagne Powder with FREE Hot Chocolate around the mountain, and of course our "Opening Day 2019" stickers will be available for all of our snow lovers who have been waiting all summer for this day. We look forward to seeing you there!
